The base of Steamboat Ski Resort is transformed in the warm and sunny summer months into a natural playground filled with entertainment.
Burgess Creek Beach - Find your beach at the base of Steamboat Ski Area in the cool, clear waters of Burgess Creek, where adults can sunbathe and enjoy a drink as they watch as their kiddos play in the sand and explore the mini waterfalls. Burgess Creek Beaches will only be partially open this summer due to construction.
Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation is moving Full Steam Ahead with the second phase of its $200 million, multi-year transformation of the base area and mountain. This summer, in order to make room for the Christie Peak Express lower terminal shift that will maximize skier/rider egress to the Steamboat Square, as well as additional on-mountain improvements, the Steamboat Bike Park will be closed and the Outlaw Mountain Coaster and Maverick’s mini golf course will be removed and are not expected to be reinstalled.
