Steamboat Musicfest

January 5 - 10, 2019

Does it really get any better than the MusicFest? In its 34th year, this festival continues to draw thousands of people who love skiing and music. Six days, 50+ bands and live performances featuring Texas and Americana music at the Steamboat Ski & Resort is a vacation you're sure to remember.


The 2019 event will include a wide array of performers, including favorites such as the Turnpike Troubadours, Cody Canada & The Departed, Dirty River Boys, Jack Ingram, and more. Click below for a full list of performers and bios for this year's 34th annual MusicFest.


Free Concerts for 2019

If you're here for the MusicFest festivities but couldn't secure event tickets or are just visiting Steamboat for a ski trip, there are still a few free concerts for you to enjoy during your stay. Below is a list of the performers by day.

January 6 - Mike & The Moonpies, followed by Jack Ingram
January 7 - Kody West, followed by Casey Donahew Band
January 8 - Shane Smith & the Saints, followed by Flatland Calvary
January 9 - Dirty River Boys, followed by Koe Wetzel

All concerts take place on the Steamboat Stage at Gondola Square and begin at 1:00 p.m.

Many of the local lodging properties offer shuttle service. The extent of the service is dependent on each property and the season.

Steamboat Springs Transit (SST)

For those without their own transportation, the city of Steamboat Springs offers a comprehensive system of free transportation between the ski area, downtown and most hotel, condominium, restaurant, grocery and entertainment locations, stopping at each location approximately every 20 minutes.
