Chamber Business Resources
The Steamboat Springs Chamber is committed to providing useful and relevant resources for member businesses and nonprofits to succeed and thrive in Routt County.
FAMLI PROGRAM
Colorado voters approved Proposition 118 in November of 2020, paving the way for a state-run Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) program. Both employers and employees will contribute premiums to the program. Premium payments begin in 2023, so employees may start to see a FAMLI premium deduction on their pay stubs beginning January 1, 2023. FAMLI will start providing benefits to employees beginning January 1, 2024. Learn More
Family Forward Guidebook
Our goal is to provide support and resources for businesses to understand and enact policies that contribute to a robust and healthy workforce including working parents. The Family Forward Guidebook details research-informed benefits that positively impact child health and well-being and provide a positive return on investment for employers. We encourage human resource professionals, business owners, CEOs, and employees to use the guide as a reference to start or continue a conversation or action within your organization. Learn More
DIY DEI Toolkit
The DIY DEI is a toolkit of strategies that our community can pick up and employ in their own life. The team investigated and evaluated the DEI issues most prevalent in our community through interviews with stakeholder groups, a review of local demographics, and research about how communities around the nation are addressing these issues. The result of their effort is a toolkit that attempts to outline relatively simple strategies that local community members, businesses, governmental entities, and nonprofits can pursue to be more aware of and actively work towards a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive community.
