There is always something happening in the Mountain Village with weekly events and happenings throughout the year.
OktoberWest
OktoberWest is Steamboat’s signature fall festival — a high-energy, family-friendly celebration of craft beverages, local bites, and mountain culture with a German twist. This event includes crowd favorites like the beef cook-off, stein holding competition, and kids’ games, and adds exciting new features, including a festive holiday vendor market and optional on-site childcare. Presented by Resort Group and Steamboat Springs Chamber.

Parking and Resort Access
Parking on the mountain is easy, with a variety of free and paid parking options.
Free Parking
Free parking is available in the Upper Knoll Parking Lot. It’s just a short walk to the base area across Mt Werner Circle. No overnight parking is allowed in this lot.
Free two-hour on-street parking is available on Ski Time Square Drive.
Paid Parking
There are several parking garages and paid lots to choose from:
- Steamboat Square Garage ($15/day)
- Ski Time Square Garage ($15/day)
- Lower Knoll Parking Lot ($10/day
- Torian Plum Parking Garage (Free for the first two hours, then $50/hour after that)
Parking is 6 am – 2 am. Overnight parking for the general public is allowed in the Steamboat Square garage. Overnight parking in Ski Time Square is for hotel guests only.
Use pay station kiosks at lots or the Park Mobile App:
- Enter license plate number & credit card number to pay
- All lots free for the first 15 minutes
- Cars parked without using the app or pay station will be ticketed. $80 citation fee.
