The Steamboat Springs Chamber is dedicated to the growth and development of our business community. Throughout the year, we coordinate events focused on the community, professional development, and networking to help your business build brand loyalty, gain exposure, and reach new customers, connect with the business community, and recruit, retain, and build top talent.
To improve the quality of life and economic well-being of our community, the Routt County Economic Development Partnership, and arm of the Steamboat Springs Chamber, focuses on activities, programs, and policies that work in concert towards a more sustainable future. This is accomplished by retaining and expanding existing businesses, supporting quality job growth, and encouraging diversification of local industry. The annual Economic Summit is a gathering of business, community, and government leaders to evaluate local demographics and economic measures and consider the current challenges and opportunities impacting our regional economy.
The annual Thrive Together Women’s Summit provides an important opportunity to invest in the current and next generation of women leaders in our community. It is designed to provide them with the knowledge, network, and tools needed to take their seats at the tables where decisions are being made, and to thrive in those seats. Thrive Together uses an inclusive definition of “woman,” and we invite and encourage ALL women and women-identified persons to participate.
The Steamboat Springs Chamber provides timely, business education seminars featuring local business leaders and experts in their field. These seminars cover a variety of topics and are designed to help businesses find impactful and creative solutions to current community and industry sector challenges, and to provide valuable professional development trainings and resources to our members and their staff.
Mixers, hosted by our local businesses and nonprofits, are designed on a larger scale to allow for more casual networking. They provide great opportunities for hosts and attendees. As a host, Mixers are an ideal opportunity to gain exposure and publicity for your business, network, meet potential new clients, educate the local workforce on your business offerings, and demonstrate your investment in the community. As an attendee this is your chance to meet new people, get your name out there, and grow your network in a fun, social environment with free food, drinks, and great prizes. Mixers are free for Chamber members and their guests.
The annual Navigator Awards honor the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding Chamber members. The awards are an opportunity to highlight the best business practices of successful entrepreneurs and set a benchmark of excellence for years to come. The awards include Business of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, and Non-Profit Leader of the Year. Applications are reviewed and winners are chosen each July.
The Winter Expo is an exhibition that showcases Routt County businesses, including activity and recreation providers, restaurants, nonprofits, and more. The Winter Expo is the best way to show both visitors and locals the best Steamboat Springs has to offer! Register your business to gain exposure, share your key winter business offerings, new promotions and products, and encourage front line employees to recommend your business, and locals to stay true and shop local.
Thinking about attending? You can’t miss this event if you or your employees want the scoop on the latest and greatest in where to go, what to do, or what to eat in Steamboat Springs. This event is free for Chamber members and the public and includes free food, drinks, and prizes.
The Youth Education Scholarship (Y.E.S.) Golf Tournament is organized by the Young Professionals Network and the Steamboat Springs Chamber. We are thrilled to be able to provide scholarships for local youth in Routt County through this event and are committed to continuing to support graduating seniors.
