Green Businesses of the Yampa Valley
Steamboat Springs and the Yampa Valley is home to many green businesses who are each on a journey to becoming more sustainable. The Chamber has partnered with the Yampa Valley Sustainability Council (YVSC) to promote the Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley, a free, technical assistance and environmental recognition program. This program offers local businesses education and opportunities to become green businesses – balancing the needs of the planet, people, and economy, while still being profitable.
The Chamber is a participant in the program and so far, over 15 Chamber members have also registered. As partners with YVSC, our goal is to continue increasing the number of green businesses in the valley. Learn more about the program here and view a map of all the participating businesses here.
