We all know the feeling; the leaves start changing color, the temperature drops and our skin starts to feel drab and dry.

Don’t let the weather put a damper on your skin’s radiance. With these simple tips your skin will keep looking fabulous and vibrant.

-Water...drink lots and lots of water. You’ve probably heard this a million times but it’s imperative to our overall health.  Our skin’s cells are composed of mostly water, without enough water the cells loose elasticity. The truth of the matter is that lack of elasticity means wrinkles and dark circles. So, in a word...WATER.

-Omega 3, 6, 9 oils. Fish oils as well as omega oils assist in the natural lipid barrier. This is key as it protects and nourishes our sometimes dry, dull skin. Not only will you be fighting cholesterol but you”ll be fighting free radicals! Healthy from the inside out.

-Vitamin C. Just like we all need that extra kick of vitamin c internally, our skin needs topical vitamin C. Anti-oxidants are the buzz word these days and for good reason. Everyone could use some anti-aging in their lives!

-Weekly Light Scrub. Often times our skin is made dull by dead skin cells that are on top of your skin’s surface. Simply washing your face isn’t enough to rid yourself of this layer. So, once a week use a light scrub, such as Vital Therapy’s Raspberry Scrub. In a circular motion, gently massage your face. This scrub not only removes impurities but will stimulate circulation which encourages new cell turnover!

With these simple tips you can fight dry skin and be on your way to beautiful, radiant, healthy skin.
