Tubing is a fun winter activity for kids and adults of all ages. Snow tubing is available locally at Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs or at Saddleback Ranch's Yee-Haw Tubing Hill.

Let’s Ride! One never forgets the exhilaration of sledding growing up. Tube Howelsen shares that same excitement and brings tubing thrills to the slopes while enjoying Steamboat Springs' hometown ski hill. Families and kids of all ages will slide into winter in a new way creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Open daily, tubers can sign up for 1-hour tubing slots online, advanced reservations are highly recommended. Enjoy the thrill as you ride up the new covered carpet lift then fly down the custom-built track, complete with banked turns and speedy straightaways. Fun and excitement for the entire family!

Saddleback Ranch

Strap on your spurs, pull down your hat, and ride Saddleback Ranch’s tubing hill. Located just 15 miles west of Steamboat Springs, YEE-HAW HILL is sure to be the highlight of your vacation. The hill is groomed and equipped with a state-of-the-art tube-tow lift system that attaches itself to the tube to transport you back to the top. From there, speed down one of the three runs on the hill on a large inner tube provided by the ranch. At the bottom, warm up in our warming lodge, grab a bite to eat, a warm drink, and hit the slope again. Snow tubing is fun winter recreation that’s suitable for kids and adults of all ages, and children four and under are free but must ride with an adult.
