The exciting lineup of events features the Wild West Air Fest at the Steamboat Springs Airport on both Saturday and Sunday - including over 20 vintage and World War II aircraft displays, helicopter and airplane rides and classic car displays by the Steamboat Car Club. Purchase your admission button at the Visitor Center on your way into town or take the free transportation to the event and buy your button at the gate. Admission is just $5 for adults and $3 for youth and your button is valid for the entire weekend.
Just to be sure you're clear on this - the fun doesn't stop with the Wild West Air Fest... The Rocky Mountain Bull Bash PBR event will be at Romick Arena on Sunday evening (doors open at 3pm; event begins at 5pm). The Steamboat Running Series will be holding the 10K at 10,000 Feet (www.runningseries.com) on Saturday. The Steamboat Stock Dog Challenge brings some of the best working dog to town for the entire weekend. The best deals of the summer will be downtown along Lincoln Avenue with the End of Summer Sidewalk Sale while in Gondola Square artisans from around Colorado will gather to sell unique art products at Art on the Mountain in Gondola Square.
