Downtown

The downtown area of Steamboat Springs has a few different options for those looking for a hotel or motel experience.  Starting with the historic Rabbit Ears Motel as you pull into town, this family-owned establishment has been here since the 70s. The motel is located along the Yampa River Core Trail, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding recreational areas, and with Old Town Hot Springs across the street, you can soak after your adventures or take the kids to enjoy the water slides. Also located downtown is Hotel Bristol, the oldest hotel in Steamboat, which features an authentic western feel with tiled bathrooms and western finishings. The hot tub on the second floor overlooks Lincoln Avenue, offering a great view in a relaxing setting. Near the west end of Lincoln, The Nordic Lodge is another family-owned business which offers breakfast in the mornings and log cabin style finishings in the rooms. All of these make it easy to walk to restaurants and enjoy all of the festivities downtown.

On Mountain Lodging

On Mountain

The mountain area near the base of the resort also features some great, full-service hotel options. The Steamboat Grand, located at the base of the resort, is just a short walk from the lifts. The hotel offers hotel rooms as well as condominiums, making it easy to find the best fit for your group. Also available on site are a restaurant and spa, allowing the group to relax during your stay. If you prefer something more low-key, but love the location of the resort, be sure to check out the Ptarmigan Inn, which has a restaurant on site and is pet friendly in the summer time, making for another great spot to get away with your furry friends this year.

Highway 40

For those who prefer the familiar, Steamboat has many great lodging options as you drive into town too, including Holiday Inn, Quality Inn, La Quinta and the Fairfield Inn. These offer a comfortable place to stay and most include a complimentary breakfast in the morning. The Holiday Inn also includes shuttle services and has a restaurant on site, offering a few added perks to the experience.

Whether you’re looking for a western experience, something basic, or something with all the bells and whistles, Steamboat Springs has a wide array of hotel and motel options for you during your stay this year.
