After spending two nights and one day in Denver for a workshop this week, I drove home to Steamboat Springs this morning very early. Leaving Denver at 5:30am to get to work at 8:00am, the drive was as peaceful, clear and calm. With relatively no one on the roads yet, it was a beautiful, scenic drive this morning. The best part of the drive is coming over Rabbit Ears Pass and descending into Steamboat. The views of Lake Catamount, the Flattops Wilderness Area, the Yampa River and the magnitude of the entire Yampa Valley are breathtaking, especially that early in the morning.
