Another beautiful weekend has come and gone. I worked on Saturday hosting a film crew from Russia as they filmed at the Stanko Ranch and the Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo. Saturday was an absolutely perfect day with cool, crisp temps in the morning and hot, roasting sunshine all afternoon.
By Rodeo time the sun had set and it was time to pull out the sweatshirt. Thanks to John Shipley for helping with a warm Steamboat Springs welcome for the film crew at the Rodeo.
Tonight is volleyball night over at the Howelsen Hill sand courts. My co-ed team is still holding strong with one loss and a good shot at the championship. There are only a few weeks left in our league which is just one more sign around here that summer has gone by way too quickly.
The only good I can figure from the end of summer is college football and skiing...
