Steamboat Marathon

Join us in 2026 for the 45th annual running of the Steamboat Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k! Registration for the full, half, and 10K is open. Registration opens September 8th, 2025!

There are no refunds or exchanges on race registrations. No exceptions. Visit our FAQ page for additional details. Please email marathon@steamboatchamber.com if you have any questions.
You are welcome to transfer races if space is available by following these instructions. There will be a $10 transfer fee (plus the difference between races if transferring up) for changing races. Please note that we will not refund the difference in price if you choose to move down. The last day to switch online is June 6. If you transfer after May 22, please check in with the timing team to ensure that you have the correct bib for your new race.
If you are injured or unable to run, you may defer your race registration to the following year. Deferrals do not carry over beyond the following year’s race. There will be a $30 deferral fee through May 22, 2026. You can defer from the race by following these instructions. After May 22, no deferrals will be accepted, but you can still change your race distances.
WHAT DOES MY REGISTRATION INCLUDE?
Registration for the race includes a t-shirt, medal, runner photos, post-race lunch, beer, and a towel.
Age Classes
Male and Female: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
AWARDS
All awards will be presented throughout the morning at the finish area on the courthouse lawn. Note: Recipients of overall awards will not be eligible to receive age division awards.
