Overview
For nearly four decades, Strings Music Festival has brought world-class music to Steamboat Springs, presenting more than 100 Grammy Award–winning artists and musicians from the nation’s top orchestras. Each year, Strings offers over 60 performances spanning classical, contemporary, and family programming, plus holiday favorites and national touring acts.
Education and community access are at the heart of Strings’ mission. Free school programs reach more than 3,500 local students annually, and free community events make up approximately 60% of all programming.
Performances take place at the Strings Pavilion, a 569-seat concert hall nestled in the heart of Steamboat Springs, offering an intimate setting for exceptional live music in a spectacular Rocky Mountain town.

- Description The Strings Music Pavilion is a world-class, 569-seat concert hall and one of Colorado’s most distinctive destinations for live music. Home to Strings Music Festival, the Pavilion hosts an acclaimed summer season anchored by more than a dozen classical evening concerts from late June through August, featuring internationally celebrated soloists and musicians from the nation’s top orchestras. Beyond classical programming, the Strings Pavilion welcomes nationally touring contemporary artists across rock, folk, jazz, Americana, bluegrass, and more—continuing year-round through fall, winter, and spring. Over the past four decades, more than 100 Grammy Award–winning artists have appeared on the Pavilion stage, alongside musicians representing all 25 of the top orchestras in the US, earning Strings a national reputation for artistic excellence in an intimate Rocky Mountain setting.
