Nestled in the heart of the Yampa Valley, Colorado's High Lonesome Outfitter and Guides offers 2hr Half Day and Full Day horseback rides. Located in Toponas, CO, which is 38 miles south of Steamboat Springs on the beautiful drive through the Flat Tops. Enjoy spectacular views of the Flattop Mountains while riding on King Mountain going through aspen groves, pine forest and open meadows filled with all kinds of wild flowers. It is typical to see an abundance of wildlife such as deer and elk. They also offer summer overnight pack trips and horseback style pack in fall hunting camps for elk and deer.
