Thank you for a safe & spirited Fourth of July Parade!
There is nothing quite like July 4 in Routt County. I love the amazing weather, the celebration, seeing so many old friends and family — but mostly the parade tradition.
Still to this day, Winter Sports Club rides their bikes, the Ski Area creates a magical float, and the Rodeo brings their horses and cowboys. While our community has evolved, the parade continues to remain rooted in family, friends, and celebrating our heritage.
Now that the Steamboat Springs Chamber has wrapped up another unforgettable parade, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our community who makes it possible.
To the City of Steamboat Springs and Routt County for their partnership, the Steamboat Springs Police Department for keeping everyone safe, and the amazing Streets Crew for all the behind-the-scenes work that makes everything run smoothly. To our residents and visitors – thanks for your patience with street closures and disruptions to your day.
As our community evolves, holding onto these traditions can become increasingly challenging – but it’s these events that remind us of where we came from and why this place is so special.
The Chamber is honored to produce this long-standing tradition that has brought joy, pride, and a sense of belonging to our community for more than 100 years. To everyone who participated, worked, sponsored, volunteered, and lined the sidewalks, thank you. Next year, we hope to see you at the same time, same place, and with the same big Steamboat smiles!
