Get all your questions about owning and operating an electric vehicle (EV) answered during the EV 101 Workshop at Howelsen Ice Arena.

Brought to you by Yampa Valley Sustainability Council, the City of Steamboat Springs, Yampa valley Electric Association and Northern Colorado Clean Cities, the day will begin with an EV 101 Workshop from 9-10 a.m. focused on learning how EVs and their charging stations function, and how they can save you money. Yampa Valley Sustainability Council and the City of Steamboat Springs present an electric vehicle (EV) Ride & Drive event, where guests can test drive electric vehicles, get their questions answered and talk to other EV owners about their experience.

Attendees will have the chance to test drive Tesla, Rivian, Chevy Bolt, Subaru and Hyundai models. To learn more, please visit steamboatsprings.net/ev.

The third installment of our four-part series will be held on May 29 from noon-1:30 p.m. in the Routt County Health and Human Services Community Room. The goal of the third workshop is to learn about the funding opportunities available for CGBN-YV participants.
