Young Professionals Network FAQ

See some of the most commonly asked questions about the Steamboat Young Professionals Network below. If you don't find what you're looking for please contact Steamboat Chamber Community Development Director, Sarah Leonard, (970) 875-7006.

Q:  How “young” or “professional” do I have to be to join YPN?

A:  There is no age or job restriction to be involved with YPN. You could be new to town, looking to make business and social connections with others in the community, or consider yourself a local who is looking to try something new. You could be a seasonal worker, trying to make Steamboat Springs a more permanent residence, or a business owner seeking a pool of enthusiastic, creative employees. With a variety of events and ways to be involved, we have something for everyone!

Q:  What benefits come with being a member of YPN?

A:  Membership in the Young Professionals Network provides the opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals to share ideas and creativity, to volunteer at organizations throughout the Yampa Valley, and to gain knowledge and tools to create the leaders of the future. We have informational seminars, volunteer opportunities, and social gatherings.
