Tim Zandee has been a full-time scenic photographer for almost 2 decades. This self-taught artist first found his creative outlet in painting and drawing. He was always attracted to the beauty in scenic photography, but was afraid to pick up a camera fearing there would be too much math and technology involved. He finally realized that the only way to truly capture nature in its purest form was to use a camera and not a brush. He still does not get too involved in the technology side of the art, which is why he likes to photograph nature – keeping it simple. He averages about 10 shots a week as he waits for special light and perfect moments…capturing nature in it’s purest most beautiful form.
