Our Core Values
The Foundry and its practices are rooted in certain beliefs that make recovery possible. These core values are the foundation of our program and are the base for our day to day operation. Our team strives to embody these values in each interaction we have with individuals in our program. We believe that is our responsibility to teach these values to each individual through role modeling with our own words and behaviors.
You are in integrity when the life you are living on the outside matches who you are on the inside.
Modeling integrity at The Foundry comes from following through on our promise to provide a safe place to heal and recover.
True compassion means not only feeling anothers pain but also being moved to help relieve it.
Our goal at The Foundry is to see each person as a unique individual, recognize the story and validate their struggles with compassion, not criticism.
Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.
In addiction and mental illness (depression/anxiety) the light of hope is dim. The gradual healing of the mind, body and spirit at The Foundry brings that light back in to focus.
Inspiration is finding the energy outside of you to become the best version of yourself.
Through our words and actions we will strive to help each individual in our program see what is possible in recovery. Through authentic participation in our program we believe each individual will find the energy to become the person they have always wanted to be.
We shall listen not lecture; learn, not threaten. We will enhance our safety by earning the respect of others an showing respect for them.
At The Foundry mutual respect is the expectation between our team and each individual in our program. We recognize and respect each persons individual process in recovery and will honor their own path.
