Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, Meg attended Miami University and received a degree in Finance. She moved to Chicago and worked on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for ten years. Starting as a runner and eventually becoming a broker in the Eurodollar pit, Meg was a partner with the Telluride Group. After ten years of the rat race, Meg and husband Steve, decided to move to Steamboat Springs, CO to start a family. They have lived in the Yampa Valley for 19 years, and now have two sons. Originally, Meg was a stay at home mom with tremendous volunteer participation in a variety of facets in the Steamboat community. Currently, she is on the board of trustees for the Yampa Valley Medical Center. Her past community involvement includes being a board member of the Healthcare Foundation of Yampa Valley, treasurer and board member of the Steamboat Springs Hockey Association. She has also coached 8th grade volleyball for nine years. In her "free time", you can find Meg enjoying the incredible outdoor activities in Steamboat: skiing, jogging, hiking, and biking; however at 44 she found her true recreational passion on the ice. Meg has been bitten by the most recent Yampa Valley curse - adult recreational ice hockey.
