    O'Johnson Giardiniera - It all started with a love for Giardiniera the first time Dave visited Chicago. It was always too hot for Colleen. Long story short, when we all were not allowed to do anything back in April 2020, we decided to try making our own Giardiniera. We started selling our Giardiniera at the Hayden Farmers Market that summer. Dave does the chopping and Colleen does the sealing. Giardiniera means "gardener" in Italian. In Chicago, where Colleen is from, it is a must have household condiment. It adds flavor to anything, Italian beef, pizza, sausage, burgers, hot dogs. sandwiches, salad, eggs, muffuletta layer, pasta salad, spaghetti, antipasto, add to your cottage cheese, baked potato, dips, charcuterie boards, and more. Not your traditional pickled vegetables. We let the vegetables do the talking.

    O'Johnson Giardiniera Original is Hot Italian Pickled Vegetables. We also make a Mild version for those that need a little less heat. Our jars are shelf stable for a year. Once opened we recommend refrigerating and eating within a month or 2, if it can last that long :)
