Overview
Learn more about Friends of the Yampa’s new resources for river stewardship with FOTY conservation program manager Emily Burke.
Our hats go off to our Yampa Valley land stewards, who work around the clock to care for our local landscapes. In this workshop, we'll discuss on the ground how-tos for land stewards looking to bolster river health, as well as compare the current conditions versus the desired future conditions of different river segments. This is a great workshop for landowners and land managers who are looking for information and support on how to best caretake the mighty Yampa and its tributaries, as well as community members interested in river restoration and health.
The Yampa River Stewardship Program, led by Friends of the Yampa, is an initiative of the Yampa River Collaborative, including Community Agriculture Alliance, Western Resilience Center, The Nature Conservancy, and River Network.
Free drinks and snacks for all attendees. Space is limited, so please cancel your reservation if you are unable to attend.
