MUSIC ON THE GREEN: SPACE FORCE!

This event is free to attend and does not require tickets. All Music on the Green performances take place at the Yampa River Botanic Park.
Join us every Wednesday morning this summer for our weekly free concert series, co-presented by the Yampa River Botanic Park. With concerts lasting just 45 minutes, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a summer morning.
Space Force! is a high-energy instrumental powerhouse that blends deep-pocket funk with sophisticated jazz-fusion and psychedelic rock. The band balances intricate original compositions with reimagined classics from the likes of Herbie Hancock, The Meters, and Frank Zappa.
Space Force! features long-time locals Kevin Williams on keys, Bob Gumbrecht on bass, Graham Waters on guitar, and Steamboat’s freshest talent on drums, Owen Gumbrecht. Space Force! delivers a groove-heavy experience that is both rhythmically driving and musically adventurous. Intergalactic grooves to make your asteroid move.
