On May 19th, 11:45am - 3:15pm, join Karen Vail and Mary O'Brien as they forage for our annual Wild Edible Feast Fundraiser! Take advantage of this one-time opportunity to learn from local experts Karen and Mary about edible and medicinal plant identification and ethical foraging practices. 

About the Naturalists: Mary O'Brien has been studying and practicing herbal medicine since 1987. A Colorado native, she has lived in Steamboat Springs for over 20 years, where she teaches herbal medicine and makes herbal products, and maintains a medicinal garden for the Yampa River Botanic Park. Karen Vail received her B.S. in Horticulture, with a concentration in Botany from Colorado State University, and earned her Master's Degree in Gardening from the Royal Horticultural Society in England. Karen and Mary are co-authors of "Edible and Medicinal Plants of the Southern Rockies.
