The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market is located along the scenic Yampa River Yampa Street between 6th and 8th Streets. Held on Saturdays from mid-June to Mid September, the official hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. but if you are out riding your bike or getting in a quick run before the day’s events, you can usually pick up a cup of coffee, pastry or even a breakfast burrito before the crowds arrive.
The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market features fresh fruit and vegetables each week, as well as local meat, cheese, and baked goods. We focus on food and offer a wide variety of local and cottage industry products. You can pick up fresh bread and pies, local beef, bison, pork, and lamb as well as jams, syrups, and honey. It’s a great place to stop for lunch as well. You can grab a gyro sandwich or a ham crepe or some smoked salmon. But if you are really hungry pick up some award winning BBQ, have a seat and listen to some local Steamboat Spring musicians.
We let our local artisans get in on the fun and show off their wares. The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market is a great place to pick a special handcrafted gift. Hand-woven shawls, cowhide handbags, stained glass, and photography are just some of the things you will see at the market. The Market is the perfect way to spend Saturday morning when you are visiting Steamboat Springs.
