Agricultural History Talks

    Join the Tread of Pioneers Museum at the historic More and Arnold Barns for free agricultural history talks this summer. 5th generation native and museum board member, Krista Monger will share the history of these two magnificent barns and first-hand accounts of our local agricultural heritage. Also, hear the story of the enormous community efforts that saved and preserved these two historic structures.

    Directions- Meet at the More Barn on Angel's View Way (off Pine Grove Rd. across from Central Park Plaza). After a short talk at the More Barn, the group will move up to the Arnold Barn on Mount Werner Circle. The program will last about one hour total.


    Special COVID-19 Precautions: Until further notice, group size limited to 9 people; masks are required and social distancing. First come first served.

    This event is free but donations to the museum are greatly appreciated. Co-sponsored by Historic Routt County who led the efforts to preserve these iconic structures.
