Easy to Get Around

Commuting employees or business visitors have many easy ways to get around Steamboat Springs, with driving alternatives including free citywide bus service, walking or biking on the Yampa River Core Trail or area roads and pathways, and reliable local taxi service.

Air Service

The Yampa Valley Regional Airport is located 22 miles west of Steamboat Springs near the town of Hayden. The airport offers direct flights from 17 cities and hosts five major airlines – Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue and United, with year-round flights from Denver and direct flights during the summer from Houston. Private and Charter Airport

The city of Steamboat Springs operates the Steamboat Springs Airport, also known locally as Bob Adams Field, as a general aviation facility serving private aircraft owners and charter companies.

Free Bus System

Steamboat Springs Transit provides a free, citywide bus service year-round seven days a week. The convenient service runs from early morning to late evening with separate schedules for the summer and winter seasons.
