Industry Work Groups
The Steamboat Springs Chamber staff and Board of Directors, the Routt County Commissioners, and Steamboat Springs City Council have been working together to assess the impacts of COVID-19 on our community and get businesses up and running as quickly as possible.
The Chamber initiated economic recovery industry work groups to identify specific support and change that needs to happen in order to open businesses and assist in long-term recovery. Fourteen different industry sectors have been identified. Find contact information for each group below.

- County Commissioners adjust variance request for events. The County’s variance request will ask the state to approve two more phases for increasing event sizes to 100 people indoors and 175 outdoors starting July 9, and 175 people inside and 250 people outside on July 30.
- Routt County Board of Health decides to pursue variance request for events and gatherings.
