Mountain Sports Kayak School

Serving Northwest Colorado since 1980. Mountain Sports Kayak School has tours and rental gear for both river and lake kayaking and paddle boarding. Fun for the whole family. The most popular program is for people who have never kayaked before. The tours begin on shore where students become familiar with their kayaks, equipment, paddle strokes and river safety. Then into the pond to use newly learned skills and then down a gentle stretch of the Yampa River. Tours are daily in the summer at 9am and 1pm. Join in with others or reserve a private for yourself or your group. Mountain Sports also rents equipment for the river or lake.
