Nothing really defines winter like snow fall early in the morning. When you wake up, look out your front window and there is a fresh blanket of snow covering he ground; all untouched, perfectly white and ready to be played in you know you are waking up to something good.

That scenario was this morning in Steamboat Springs.

After a few warm days here in the Yampa Valley, the snow has returned with a fresh 5” reported in the past 24 hours and forecasters predicting another 12” or so by Sunday morning. What does this mean for you and me? With the gondola now open, the new Christie Peak Express lift up and running and Four Points now open and being added to the mix, it look like we all have a busy weekend of skiing and riding ahead of us. See you out there!
