As you know last Sunday was the triathlon.  I was riddled with anxiety not knowing if I had done enough training.  I showed up Sunday morning at Catamount Lake to be greeted by my teammates.  The temperatures were better than I expected and we all felt good, beside our turning and twisting race stomachs.  I began the first leg in the water, the cold temperatures and the lake weeds touching my toes gave me the extra motivation to swim just a little faster.  I passed the timing chip to my teammate on the bike who had a helpful tail wind on the way out of her ride but a though head wind on the way back but all in all made for a awesome bike time.  The timing chip was passed off for the last time to our runner; she didn’t feel well, but ultimately ended up crushing the time she had set for herself.  At the end of each leg we had the best cheering section which I think ultimately helped us in our SECOND PLACE FINSIH!
