Whether you call it an Indian summer or just beautiful weather in late summer and early fall, what Steamboat Springs is experiencing this week weather wise is pretty awesome. What is better than the weather, is that it will be paired this weekend with great events and fun activities and new sights around town. Specifically, this weekend I plan to be checking out the 2nd Annual Steamboat Brewers’ Festival, the 1st Annual Steamboat Springs Rotary Community Barbecue & Barn Dance and then the new addition to the Bud Werner Memorial Library.

The 2nd Annual Steamboat Brewers’ Festival will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20th at the base of the ski area at Torian Plum Plaza.

The 1st Annual Steamboat Springs Rotary Community Barbecue & Barn Dance will have activities for everyone at Sidney Peak Ranch from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. also on Saturday, September 20th.

Also I had a chance to check out the new addition to the Bud Werner Memorial Library this week and I am planning a trip back this weekend for some reading, exploring and great views from the beautiful new building.
