With the holiday’s right around the corner, this time of year in Steamboat Springs is perfect for two things; playing in the snow and holiday shopping. Everyday more and more, Steamboat is looking like the winter wonderland that we all know and love. The trees limbs are covered with snow and everyone is bundled in their winter coats, hats and scarves. This weekend will be great for fun up on the mountain, but there are other activities in town that you should check out too.

On Saturday, December 8th check out the “Christmas in the Rockies Annual Holiday Artisan Market.” The annual arts and crafts show will be at Strawberry Park Elementary and will feature over 40 artists/vendors with great ideas and gifts for the holidays. Event will be from 9am – 4pm and admission is free.

Still looking to buy a Christmas tree? The Lions Club Christmas Tree sale is in full swing. Stop by the Christy Sports in Central Park Plaza or the parking lot due North across Highway 40 from Elk Park where the sulphur springs are located.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the snow, shopping and the beginning of the holidays!
