All the ghosts, goblins, and witches of Steamboat Springs were out on Wednesday night for the Downtown Halloween Stroll.

From 5-7 pm Lincoln Avenue in downtown Steamboat was closed for trick or treaters of all ages to enjoy a safe night of Halloween fun. Hundreds of people lined the street showing off their costumes, participating in spooky haunted houses and receiving load of candy from local stores in the downtown business community. Downtown to enjoy the festivities myself, I was blown away with all the great costumes and with the number of people who dressed up for this year’s event. My favorite costumes of the night were a couple dressed up as bees and a newborn that was suited up in a chick costume. I think almost everyone in Steamboat Springs was out for the celebration last night.

What a great community event!
