As a native New Yorker, there is nothing I relish more than sitting in the sunshine and enjoying brunch with friends and family.  Whether you prefer the serenity of the outdoor deck at Creekside Café ( ps-please bring back the smoked salmon breakfast quesadillas!), or the hustle and bustle of town passing by Winona’s, there is a mimosa with your name on it in downtown Steamboat.  But don’t stop there!  Practically every restaurant in Steamboat offers outdoor seating in the summer, so don’t forget to join us for dinner and drinks under the stars as well! Now that you’re full from our fabulous food, come enjoy my personal favorite form of exercise…shopping!  No need to head to the city, girls! Steamboat has some of the best boutiques around.  Stop in to Kali’s Boutique and Chez Nous and find the newest styles, as well as your favorite classics.  Don’t forget to check out Urbane, a new local favorite for stylish men and women.  And just in case you missed the 30 mile radius of signs, F.M. Light and Sons is a Steamboat staple…imagine leaving here without a new pair of boots…a tragedy, indeed. If you’re interested in “actual” physical activity, Steamboat is waiting!  Mountain bike up Mt. Werner, hike to the top of Fish Creek Falls, or head up to Rabbit Ears and look out on the Continental Divide.  If you’re more inclined to stay on the mainland, the bike path is a must-do! It spans from one end of town to the other, winding you along the Yampa.  There are endless views and fresh air to enjoy with friends and family.  And, as they say, don’t forget to stop and smell the roses! Enjoy a walk around our famous botanical gardens on your trip down the path.
