I thought the saying was, “April Showers, Bring May Flowers?”  Not today in Colorado.  For Colorado it should be switched to “April, with a rain/snow mix, highs in the 50’s and 60’s, Bring May Wildflowers”.  Somehow, this does not have the same ring as its predecessor but is more of an accurate depiction of true Colorado weather.  I will give you my first case experience.  Yesterday the temperatures were in the 50’s and 60’s here in Steamboat Spring,  I even got a beautiful workout in on my road bike.  Today, I woke up to a complete blizzard.  Now the snow has subsided and the blue sky is beginning to peak out.  Yesterday, I saw flowers peeking through the grass and today I see a blanket of snow covering that same grass.  All of the different weather we experience in one week and even in one day is what makes Colorado special and why I love to live here!
