This past weekend Steamboat Springs celebrated 95 years of winter fun, activity and community involvement with the 95th Annual Winter Carnival. This event is a long time fixture of Steamboat winters that helping to promote the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. It also helps to spice up the long winters with the community gathering for various races, street events on Saturday and Sunday, the famous “Lighted Man” who skis down Howelsen Hill at the Night Extravaganza, all in celebration and recognition of this town heritage, culture and commitments.
