Businesses and entrepreneurs who relocate to or grow their companies in Routt County are supported by a network of partnering groups that provide assistance to help area businesses become and stay successful.

Colorado Mountain College provides a wide range of business education and assistance programs, including the Yampa Valley Entrepreneurship Center, SCORE counseling, business seminars, and business courses and AA and BA degree programs.

The Colorado Workforce Center provides services to job seekers and employers.

MainStreet Steamboat Springs was founded in 2004 to preserve, promote and enhance downtown Steamboat Springs. MainStreet also maintains an inventory of available building spaces, sizes and rents.

Steamboat Mountain Village Partnership was created to encourage visitation to the mountain village base area and serve as a resource to mountain village businesses and programs.

The South Routt Economic Development Council promotes sustainable and healthy business economies for the existing businesses and to help new businesses throughout the south Routt County region, including the communities of Oak Creek, Stagecoach, Phippsburg, Yampa and Toponas. SREDC strives to facilitate communication between businesses, nonprofit organizations and the communities to achieve better business and nonprofit organizational opportunities. The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership, established more than a decade ago, assists businesses and entrepreneurs across Moffat County to the west of Routt County. The Marianna Raftopoulos Business Incubator/One Stop Business Center opened in 2012 as a partnership between the CMEDP and the Colorado Small Business Development Center. The center provides centralized business startup resources, services, classes, counseling and a technology center for residents of Moffat County.
