Children's Activities Year-Round

Steamboat Springs is fun for the whole family, and there will never be a dull moment for children and children-at-heart.

Summer

In the summer, Gondola Square lies the Coca-Cola Adventure Zone, an area that hosts a climbing wall, bungee-jumping, a mechanical bull, and many other fun activities. Running parallel to the base is Burgess Creek that toddlers and children love to splash in. Steamboat also hosts the a 2,400 alpine slide in the summer months. Howelsen Ice Arena also hosts the only Bumper cars on Ice in all of Colorado.

Winter

During the winter enjoy many other great kid’s activities such as water slides and climbing wall at Old Town Hot Springs (open year-round), or enjoy a night of snow tubing after a day on the slopes.
