Matt Phelan Drawing Workshops

Join Bud Werner Memorial Library as they welcome Matt Phelan for two hands-on drawing workshops, just for kids.

Matt PhelanWorkshop for Children Ages 5-9: Pictures & Stories

A professional illustrator needs two things: imagination and a pencil. This hands-on workshop will show how a spark of an idea can develop into a story. Children ages 5-9 are invited to the Bud Werner Library with award-winning children's book author and illustrator, Matt Phelan, for a hands-on, interactive workshop where kids will learn to brainstorm ideas and get a chance to get them into drawing. This is a very unique opportunity to get small group art instruction with one of the best children's book illustrators in the business. Space is limited to 30 people. Please sign up in person at the kids' desk or online at the link below.
